The Boutique Hotel Schwarzer Adler in Innsbruck has been around for more than 500 years and continues to amaze its guests with its unique interior and many stories. But change does good even in difficult times and for this reason the hotel management used the pandemic to convert the hotel. The result is a modern and comfortable city hotel.
Innsbruck is the capital of the province of Tyrol and has been a popular winter sports centre in the Alps for a long time. In fact, Innsbruck has everything that a lively city needs – and yet it is so small that you can be in the high mountains within 10 minutes. In the morning you can follow in the footsteps of the Habsburgs, visit the Goldenes Dachl, the imperial Hofburg, the medieval old town and the famous Hofkirche with the “Schwarzen Mandern” – in the afternoon on the Nordkette, you can undertake extensive hiking tours and demanding summit explorations. On day trips in the mountains you can enjoy lunch in mountain huts. In the evening you can sample traditional „Schmankerl“ of the Tyrolean kitchen in one of the many local restaurants before you enjoy the cosiness of the domestic nest in the Hotel Schwarzer Adler.
